A playground for your mega portion of family vacation is South Tyrol, the beautiful Puster Valley in the heart of the Dolomites. Here lies Rasun-Antholz, known especially in winter for biathlon, its idyllic snow-covered landscape, and also for South Tyrol’s number one family ski area, Kronplatz, which is hidden in the image above directly behind Pino’s cave near the big slide. Summer also has a lot to offer here: Proud mountains all around invite wonderful hikes, lush green forests, sunshine, blue skies, and a few soft, white clouds. Just like a child would paint it – perfect!
Whether it’s the idyllic Antholzer See, the famous Tre Cime (Three Peaks), the Pragser Wildsee (Lake Braies), or the Kronplatz, our 4-star family hotel Garberhof is the ideal starting point for plenty of fun and action, as the Puster Valley has quite a few tricks up its sleeve: the children’s world in the neighboring village, for example, a natural playground spread across several areas in the forest, featuring its water world, climbing area, balance course, tree house path, and next to the dwarf slide – hold on tight – a 56-meter-long giant slide! Or the Olperls mountain world, where 10 adventure stations await you with a children’s hut, lookout tower, barefoot path, and climbing logs. The Garberhof is completely geared toward families. This begins with the perfectly furnished variety of rooms and suites and continues with the exquisite cuisine and the special children's menu featuring all the beloved favorites! And in between, there’s plenty of room for big and small “wow” moments: in the various pools, the family sauna, the large outdoor play area, the water forest next door, or in our own mini-farm, a small experiential farm. Last but not least, there's Pinoland, spread across two whole floors! Our Pino Bear ensures that lots of fun and games happen there, and our Pinoland team assists him with age-appropriate care, even for babies starting from 6 months old.
A large breakfast buffet featuring local delicacies, as well as a lunch and afternoon buffet with warm children's meals from 12:30 to 13:30. The highlight of the evening is a delicious 4-course choice menu. Fresh products of the highest quality are prepared in South Tyrolean, Italian, and often Mediterranean styles. The salad buffet is a vitamin-rich accompaniment, and a diverse selection of cheeses is also available, while our special children's menu takes care of the happy faces of the little ones. Additionally included are non-alcoholic drinks directly from the Pinobrunnen – a true paradise for guests!
