The idea of offering a perfect family vacation with the highest quality standards and competent support was first presented to the public at the ITB trade fair in Berlin in 1988, when it was still a purely Austrian group.

Despite growing success, the maxim of "taking responsibility for future generations because children are the future" has always remained the same.

In order to spread the Kinderhotels concept outside of Austria and to operate internationally, the hotel cooperation was transformed into a limited company after around ten years, which has since become known as the Original Kinderhotels Europa brand.

Today, 28 hotels in three countries operate under the brand.
