Mateidl family
As passionate family people, we wanted to give the children among our guests a very special place. For this reason, Robert and Irene Mateidl founded the Baby+Kinderhotel Sonnelino at the end of the 1970s. This means that our guests - of all ages - and we can be sure that your vacation will be an unforgettable experience for everyone.
Since 1996, we have been working together as a family to look after the well-being of all our guests and the fortunes of the company.

Our hotel is located directly on Lake Klopein, with its own stretch of beach, gently sloping shore, its own jetty (1 parasol, sun loungers per room) and an indoor spa area. For parents, the Sonne See Spa (in the Hotel & Spa Sonne) offers a first-class wellness area. There you will find an outdoor pool, whirlpool on the sun deck, several saunas, lake sauna and large relaxation rooms for maximum relaxation on vacation, while your offspring is well looked after by our loving care team.

The well-developed road network with little traffic and the gently undulating landscape around the lake offer ideal conditions for leisure cyclists, racing cyclists and mountain bikers alike.
