The Heymich Family – Hosts with Heart for Three Generations
The Leading Family Hotels and Resort Löwe & Bär have been in the hands of the Heymich family since the very beginning and are now proudly run by the third generation. What started decades ago has grown into a heartfelt commitment to creating exceptional family holidays – shaped by passion, responsibility, and a deep sense of togetherness.
Charly Heymich and Nicole are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the hotels. With great dedication and personal presence, they ensure that every family feels truly welcome and cared for. Beyond the hotels, Charly also serves as Mayor of Serfaus, contributing actively to the development of the region.
Lukas Heymich and Natalia oversee strategy, marketing, and finance, shaping the long-term vision of Löwe & Bär. In addition, Lukas brings valuable perspectives to the wider destination as Chairman of the Tourism Board, always with a focus on sustainable family tourism.
Alongside their many responsibilities in hospitality and tourism, the Heymich family also runs their own farm, reflecting their deep-rooted connection to nature, tradition, and life in the mountains. This authenticity can be felt throughout the hotels – in the warm atmosphere, genuine encounters, and family holidays that connect generations.

In winter, Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis becomes one of the most family-friendly ski destinations in the Alps. Children enjoy their first turns in lovingly designed areas such as Kinderschneealm, Berta’s Kinderland and Murmli Park, supported by excellent ski schools and playful learning concepts. Our lovingly designed Family Suites at the Leading Family Hotels Löwe & Bär in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis are perfectly tailored to the needs of families with children. Each suite features separate children’s bedrooms with age-appropriate sleeping arrangements, giving both parents and children their own private retreat. Spacious living and sleeping areas are elegantly furnished and create a warm, home-from-home atmosphere in authentic Tyrolean style.
Standard amenities include comfortable king-size box-spring beds in the parents’ bedroom, modern bathrooms with bathtub and shower, a south-facing balcony with mountain views, as well as flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, safe and minibar. Especially family-friendly: all suites are equipped with an integrated electronic baby monitor (child monitoring system), complemented by baby care sets with HIPP products and a wide range of child-friendly amenities.

The Hotel Löwe offers loving all-round care for babies from the 1st week of life up to children aged 12 years.
Organic Hipp jars, a huge selection of milk powder for bottles and various milk products are available for babies 24 hours a day in the baby corner. In addition, fresh porridge is prepared daily by our kitchen team free of charge.
Child and baby care is offered 12 hours a day in our children's club. A varied entertainment and adventure program guarantees fun and entertainment throughout the day and in the evening. It is no coincidence that the hotel has been awarded the "Baby-Perfect" seal of quality - the highest award in the field of baby care. Children have access to a 1,000 m² play area with a soft play area and huge ball pool, slide and crawling tunnel.
Adult guests are offered an extensive range of services. At Hotel Löwe, our guests can relax in the SPA area and enjoy a Finnish sauna, a bio-clay sauna, a herbal steam bath, a rock ice grotto and a panoramic relaxation room.
The Leading Family Hotel Löwe has a 130 m² fitness studio equipped with state-of-the-art Technogym® equipment. There is an extensive daily fitness animation program including yoga, abdominal-leg-buttocks, water gymnastics, back training, HIT courses and outdoor gymnastics. Adults can experience pure pampering with cosmetic treatments from "Maria Galland" in 8 different treatment rooms. Special treatments are also available for children and teenagers.
